Statement
Since the beginning of the 21st century, I have been working on a variety of visual works regardless of field, including UI/UX, graphic design, illustration, digital art, and painting.
I have worked in several companies and started a studio to pursue this career. I have been working. As I worked for quite a long time, my individuality gradually faded as I made compromises to make a living and accepted trends indiscriminately. Of course it's an excuse. Not everyone who does a lot of client work becomes like that.
Recently, I participated as a founding member of an SNS service and only do my own work, so my client work has stopped. As I was in this state, my vision of what kind of work I should do in the future became clear and my motivation for my work arose again.
A Korean fallen monk, Hyemin, also said,
“Things you can only see when you stop.”
Starting with this website reorganization, I plan to actively continue my work activities, which have been on hiatus for a while.

21세기가 시작할 즈음부터 지금까지 UI/UX, 그래픽디자인, 일러스트레이션 디지털 아트, 회화 등 분야를 가리지 않고 다양한 시각물을 작업 해오고 있다.
여러 회사를 거쳐 스튜디오를 창업하는 등의 과정을 거치며 이 업에 종사해왔다.
꽤 긴 시간을 일하다 보니 생계를 위한 타협, 무분별한 트렌드의 수용 등이 누적되며 내 개성은 점점 희미해져 갔다. 물론 핑계다. 클라이언트 작업을 많이 한다고 모두가 그렇게 되지는 않는다.
최근에는 SNS 서비스의 창업 멤버로 참여하여 자사의 작업만 하기에 클라이언트 작업은 멈춘 상태다. 이런 상태에 놓이다 보니 내가 앞으로 어떤 작업을 해야 할지에 대한 시야가 명확해졌고 작품 활동에 대한 의욕도 다시 생겼다.
한국의 요승, 혜민 스님도 말했다.
“멈추면 비로소 보이는 것들”
이번 웹사이트 개편을 시작으로 그간 쉬어왔던 작품 활동을 왕성하게 이어나가고자 한다.
